Intro
My name is Adikinyi Agimba although I go by Adi. Hearing my full first name is reminiscent of my childhood when I would periodically turn my Mum into a human kettle. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya and have since lived in Melbourne, Milan and Glasgow. I am modestly travelled having explored the sights and sounds of 15 countries. However, a perfect holiday in my books is clambering towards a mountain peak. Summiting Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa, has whet my appetite to attempt an 8000er expedition. I often view my surroundings through a postmodern lens owing to my avant-garde upbringing. Ergo my intrigue in sociology and data analytics.
Work
As an aspiring data scientist, I appreciate how statistical analysis methodically sifts through the nuances of subjective dilemmas to distill taken for granted assumptions. By leveraging data of varying structures, I seek to build and improve algorithms in order to solve complex problems and decipher meaningful insights.
